Arrived in Laos (Luang Prabang) from Chiang Mai by plane at around 16:30, wow what a flight! The plane looked like something out of a museum.
Took a short trip in a tuk tuk from the airport to the main road here and found it set along side the mekong river and surrounded by the mountains. Found a small guest house called "The bakery" (gemma and any thing sweet!) which is costing us around 17 pounds expensive for travellers but this really is in the middle of no-where. Check out the picture of the big bug and it flys....!
That night we met up with some friends we made in Ayutthaya and then made some more from all over the world. After some heavy drinking in Lao Lao bar (shots and cocktails) we decided to venture off to the local bowling/ bar/ club...
Our journey there saw 9 of us cram into a open backed tuk tuk and off we went, whosps leaving one behind who hitched a ride off some random and caught up. ha
After arriving we were pleasantly surprised to find it wasnt an old shack but actually brick built place with beer and everything.
And so took place... the master at work namely me, destroying everyone in our group at bowling. Then another two beers later and the second game began Then i was destroyed by two others one of which was a girl... Love you really Kyla.. mwah.
Anyway that was really the end of the night.
Oh yeah theres a new part to our blog as well, all the newfriends we make on our travels we are getting them to pull lets say less attractive faces after a few beers, so theres a places especailly for them.
The following day we woke up at around 10:30am missing our free breakfast, and decided to visit the local waterfall.
Wow it is so pretty..... After getting very wet walking to the top we decided to go for a swim in the lower streams and out lets off the main falls. Walking back to our tuk tuk we also past the bear and tiger rescue centre fences not very stable...!!!
Following day we visited a temple on top of a hill 190 big steps in about 28 degrees.... and walked around the local museum.
