So last night I ended up at the island of Ischia, which is beautiful. Unfortunately I landed at the wrong hotel. The RIGHT hotel has the same name but was a 2 hour ferry ride and 1 hour train ride away ... Yep, still trying to work out how that happened. Ended up staying the night, and will take a ferry to Sorrento this morning. The hotel was weird. It has a pool (definitely appreciated in my hot & sweaty state). Gorgeous Tired, headache - where the hell is the bar?

Naples is filthy - there's rubbish everywhere you look. But it has trams! Giving way to pedestrians is clearly a suggestion rather than a rule. For drivers, use of the horn is mandatory. Even as a pedestrian I'm far too polite. And I need to remember that they drive on the right so I don't get taken out by a bus. So far the only men calling me Bella are old and fat.

The tour guide on the walk kindly pointed out over the microphone that I was the only single person in the bus, everyone else being either a couple or a family. Thanks buddy

The hotel restaurant has a Nescafé machine to make coffee. Sigh
