The Pantheon. Roma pass and off touristing. The Colosseum, Palatine gardens, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Popolo, shops... Unable to get into the museum of the Borghese, as booked out well in advance. One for next time. Piccolo gelati, a spritz drink in the late afternoon and a late pasta dinner.

Near the area of the Spanish Steps. Fast - though not super so - train from the Cinque Terre to Rome Centrale. Unfortunately caught by a taxi driving thief for the trip to the Hotel Modigliani. Another lesson learnt! But won't happen again. Hotel really good. Wandering around the local area of the hotel. Found a nice little bar/trattoria.
