Looking up towards L'Opera. We chose L'Open Tour buses in Paris, though there is BigBus too. Went for the booked dinner at the Eiffel Tower - 58 Eiffel. Fantastic. Walked along the Seinne taking night photos - then taxi rest of the way.

View from the room window. Caught the Eurostar from St. Pancreas railway station to Paris Gare du Nord. Short taxi ride to the Hotel Montpensier with its tiny one person lift. The Louvre turns to out be only 5 minutes walk away. There is something to be said for bookings.com & Tripadvisor. Walk along the ordered garden ways and the Seinne river.
