Returned our car to downtown Seattle and got the shuttle bus to Pier 91 to board our ship the Celebrity Solstice. Were greeted and given a glass of champagne each and directed to the welcome aboard buffet. Our room was on deck 8 - with a balcony and en-suite shower room - very nice! Went out to explore - beautiful ship with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and Jacuzzis, many bars - even one on the top deck with a lawn! Lots of restaurants, a library, entertainme...

Our room at the Maxwell Hotel was not ready as we were early so we decided to go out and see what was in the area. We got to the Space Needle and decided to go up, wow the views were amazing! When we came back down we walked along the front to find the Pike Market, which we eventually did after quite a while, came across a super target store so did a little shopping and then sat "people watching" and had a couple of beers (Happy Hour!!!) outside the Hard Rock ...
