Arrived at Weipa this afternoon, the largest bauxite mine in the world which they use to make aluminium. The Caravan park is on the coast and very shadey with huge trees, and has a nice feel about it. However they have warned us t o stay away from one end near the river because there is a huge croc living there that attacked a person recently and took his leg ( we are at the other end).
