Well this will be my last blog from NZ. I fly out to Sydney tomorrow!! It will be really tough to leave this place. the country is so beautiful. The highlights were Kaikura and Lake Taupo. Could definately stay there longer!

Well did my trip into Northland and Bay of Islands. Stayed at a town called Pahia. Was a nice town except for solely the hostel I had to stay in which was the most badly thought out hostel in history!

On the afternoon I had there I went to visit Waitangi (the historical grounds where the Mauri chieves signed the declaration to become part of the British empire) Was an interesting visit though apparently this agreement as been the source of much political unrest as it give Mauri certain rights to land ownership that have been largely ingored by the NZ government for the past 100 years!

Had a nice dinner in the volcanic slab restuarant - where they serve your food on a hot slab which cooks it for you at your table. Very cool!

Yesterday I got back to Aukland and went to see Mirrors at the cinema. Today was a brief visit to the Americas cup harbour and maritime museum.

The weather is so perfect now I may go to albert park and chillax for a few hours!
