We started our day with a great breakie. Hank's Creekside Restaurant, it came highly recommended so we thought to try it out.
Drove into the City. It's about 50 min south of Santa Rosa.
Spent the day on Fisherman's wharf. Had clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. We were hoping for Bubba Gump's. But wholly crap the line up.
It then hit me. The last time we were here together, it was Sept. no vacationers. There were a lot of people this time.
Tour buses full....long line up to ride the cable cars.
I have been here in Spring, Fall & Winter. And now Summer.
It started to chill off. We bought jackets so we could walk the Golden Gate Bridge. The clouds were very low the wind was quite strong.
A lady I met from a previous trip once told me "San Francisco is the coldest day in summer". I would have to agree. We have gone from 20 degrees to 37/38 degrees and then today 16 with crazy wind on the bridge.
