Hello,

Didn't do alot yesterday as we had anotehr day in Bangkok to wait for our train down south. We stayed in the park for most of the day reading and playing cards etc. The sleeper train was interesting...bunkbeds!! Not the greatest nights sleep as it was very noisy etc but worth it to get to the islands! we also booked a plane from phuket to singapore as it means we get more days in koh phi phi and an extra day in Singapore rather than 2 days travelling by train!

Been in Koh Samui for the day today! We dont really like it it all seems a bit chavvy and sleezy! We took a ferry across from the mainland and the sea was gorgeous turquoise for the whole hour and a half journey! It also had lots of islands randomly poking out of the water! Aparently the thai gulf is not the pprettiest side either! We have checked into a little beach bungalow which is on stilts and has a little decking area outside its only 300baht a night with fan and hot water!! Bit of a deal! G laughed when i said i felt like an old american couple on our porch haha! anyway from the porch we can see and hear the sea!! Spent the afternoon on the beach which was really quiet but we did get a little burnt on the ferry over here!! Oh well!!

We have book a ferry out of here in the morning to Krabi which should be lovely!! Very exciting!!
