The 18th we spent the night in China town. Truly amazing markets and food. Followed this up with a night time cruise on the river.

On the 19th we all had a sleep in. We then got up and went to the Singapore Flyer, the worlds biggest ferris wheel. Josie and I loved it. The view was amazing. It takes 30min to do one turn. Jacqui and Nates fear of heights hindered them at the start but they soon got their sea legs, well nearly. That night we went to the Singapore Zoo for a night safari. Just flopped onto beds at motel after 14 hours in plane. It is 9.30 am here , but is 2.39 am for us so it is going to be a challenge to stay awake. Been out looking around Little India and Arab St which are just across from our motel. Narrow streets lined with old style terrace houses and shutters as Singapore once would have been all over.
