Tuesday 12th Roseau Dominica So today I went on my own as Avril not up to par. Monday 11 th, Castries, St Lucia Our tour today is Catamaran to the Pitons. We boarded a private catamaran for a scenic cruise along the island's Western coastline. The highlight was to pass the spectacular Saint Lucia's World Heritage Site, The Pitons. 10th Grenada Our focus this morning was to find the Spiceland Mall, where there was an Apple shop. However, it is Sunday. We caught a water taxis across the bay from St Georges and after a walk along the beach etc found the Mall - the shop was closed! We did manage to find a good wifi connection and messaged home with the iPhone. Water taxis back to the town and wandered through the terminal building. 5th February Santarem Today's tour was a nature walk in Bosque Santa Lucia. The bus took us from the harbour and along the Cuiba Highway to reach an elevation of 158 metres, which might be considered the Alps for the Amazon. 4th February Parintins To start our tour today, we had to transfer to shore by tender. The boat was a typical local one, which is used to transport bananas, passengers and anything else between islands as there are very few roads. The seating was individual plastic chairs.
