14th: arrived in bagan at 4.30 am with monosyllabic Swiss girl, Tiffany and Texan chase. Hung out at othello bello/hostel till breakfast- wandered down street for 60p Indian fry up served by child with voice of 70 year old chain smoker. Walked around aimlessly for several hours.Tried and failed at e bikes.
Laura grumpy due to lack of sleep. Saw some awesome temples in old bagan. Ate at be kind to animals- awesome coconut curry thing with side of onion rings to keep things western. Missing cheese to the max.
15th. Best nights sleep in forever! Booked mount popa for the afternoon. Ate at the black rose- interesting. 1hr bus to mount popa. Trekked to top in 42 degree heat. Posed like angelina for tourists,
