After a long and bumpy ride on the train we made it to danang. At the station we waited and tried to figure out how to get to Hoi An an hour away. I had read in my travel book that there was a bus but we couldn't find one nor did we want to walk far in the ehat with our bags. We decided to jump in a taxi instead that cost us 500,000 dong, approx 30 AUD. It seemed expensive but it was likr 50km away.
We arrived at our resort and it was raining. The resort was lovely with a big pool in the middle and a bathroom with the shower window looking back into the bedroom. The bed was a doucle bed made off two single beds yet again.
We decided we would head into the city and we went to morning glory for lunch. I had the chicken curry which was amazing. We went for a small walk around the town before it started bucketing down with rain so we went to the cake shop and grabbed a cake to eat back at the resort.
After a few hours rest we went back out to get dinner and I had a chicken banh mi, even though there was a parma on the menu. After dinner we walked the streets as i looked for a tailor. On the street we ran into our friends from Sa Pa and decided to head out for a drink. One drink became a cocktil bucket which became a pub crawl of coktail buckets and a visit to tiger tiger. A drunken bartering of a t-shirt, so more rain and some spewing in the middle of the street made for a very fun, druken night. Ready for a sleep in :)
