So we awoke to another beautiful day in queenstown with the sun shining once again. Today is the day we bungy, but not Until the afternoon.

We decided that Bec would take the car back whilst I got food for lunch and worked out our bungy arrangements. We met back up at around 9 and then it was time for some kayaking. We went and hired the kayaks and went out onto the river. Bec was a pro and after a while I got the hang of it and stopped hitting myself with the kayak! It was d beautiful to see queenstown from the water.

After kayaking it was time to hit the pub on the waterfront for some liquid courage before the big jump! And then it was finally time. We had to go to the centre in town and be weighed. Apparently we were both the same weight and as we were doing bungy and a swing, it would be perfect for the tandom swing. After being weighed in we jumped on the bus and went off raod until we came to Nevis :)

Once we were there, the nerves started to kick in. Looking out over the valley, watching other people jump ahhhhh! We then had to wait to get a lift out to the jump platform (that was scar enough). We watched person after person jump and survive and then it was bec's turn. She did it so easily. Then it was my turn, I didn't even get close to the edge before I started creaking and crying and saying I didn't want to jump. After a minute of chilling I then decided to jump. I got to the edge of the platform, still shaking and in one split second decided I should jump and then I was free falling! Screaming my lungs out and my eyes closed tight I jumped. The rope caught me and I went up before falling down again. On the second time bouncing up you are meant to pull a cord so when u get pulled back up you can be sitting. Mine had been caught in my feet and I couldn't pull it. So I came back up upside down! So I then was able to get back in the lift and back to land. At that stage I was still shaking and s***ting myself. We got inside and then time for the swing. This was going to be easy. We decided that I would go forwards and Bec backwards. We got hooked up and then dropped out from the platform, without warning off we went. Weeeeeeee this was fun. The worlds biggest swing :) this is something I would do again.

After all the crazy things we did we hit happy hour at the pub before hitting ferg burger. Everyone had told us to go to ferg burger. After the 40 minute wait we had our ferg burger which wasn't too bad. Not sure it was worth the wait for.

After a rest we went for a gondola ride to the top of mountain to see the view overlooking the city. We made it before sunset so got to see it with the light. We then had amazing hot chocolates before heading out to as the view of a night with all the lights below. Then we made out way back down and had a good sleep!

Our last day in queenstown is tomorrow! We will say goodbye but I'm sure we will be back. Auckland tomorrow then rotarua :) xx
