Last day in New Zealand :(

We woke up and walked to the bus stop in Rotorua and jumped on the bus for our 4 hour bus trip back to Auckland. We got back just after 12 and tried to check in but they wouldn't let us til one o'clock so we ditched the bags and headed for the waterfront. We went to a cafe called barbara, which was meant to be the best coffee in Auckland and it didn't disappoint. We then met up with bec's friend Michele and went for a drive across the bridge to davenport and up the top of a hill. The sun started to shine and it was a beautiful day. We then drove to the beach and got ice cream. We watched as the tourists next to us eating Burger King threw their fries at the seagulls and then a little bird came and stole half of the burger out of the guys hand. Karma! We then got dropped off and we checked in.

In the room, we met a guy from the uk and went to the Irish pub for some beer and to watch the cricket (Aussies doing well of course!).

After this, we eventually went to dinner where I got asked for ID three times! We had a drink in memory of Lenny and some yummy burgers. We then went back to the backpackers to pack for our early flight at 7.30 in the morning. New Zealand was lots of fun and I'm sure we will visit again! Until next time :)
