Another early wake up, 7am blarghhh!

We woke and quickly got dressed and headed to breakfast which was a buffet with toast and cereal. We then checked out and walked to the bus stop to jump on the 4hour bus to rotarua. We had a few stops on the way and it was a nice view outside. When we were close to arriving, the bus started to smell and we tried to work out where it was coming from and then we realised this was the smell of the area that everyone had warned us about.

We jumped of the bus and Bec had the map.... Bad idea! We went a few minutes in the wrong direction before finally finding our backpackers and checking in. We then proceeded to find the local bus stop and stopped off at the cafe for lunch. The place forgot about my order, and so we missed the bus we wanted to catch. Never going back there again!

Once on the bus, it took about 15minutes to get to zorb :) now this would be fun. I've always wanted to zorb ever since I saw it on the amazing race. We got there, and got changed ready to zorb. We got in the car, driven up the hill and then jumped into the zorb ball ready to roll down the hill. The first one I did was the hydro zorb on the zig zag track! It was so much fun, except I had to be careful not to hurt my neck anymore as it was still sore from bungy! The next zorb was another hydro with Bec down the straight track. This was again lots of fun, with Bec exclaiming she needed to go to the toilet just as we were getting pushed down the hill. The last zorb I did was the dry one where I was strapped in. This one I did not like and began to feel a bit ill. Too much spinning I think. Overall, zorbing was heaps of fun and something I would recommend doing.

After this, I was pooped and went for a nap for a few hours. We then went to a local pub for some food and drinks and to watch the ashes. It was good food and good to chill for a bit. On the way home we did a bit of present shopping and then decided to hit the hay and have a good nights sleep for our last day in New Zealand :( almost time to go home, both happy and sad about it!!
