Le tour de France ;)
So I had breakfast and then headed a bit further up the col du tourmalet until I found a shady patch of grass and crashed! I had 3 hours to wait so I read my booked, relaxed and had some beer.
The subsisting moving over the mountain so I had to wait the last hour or so in the thirty degree heat. About an hour before the tour was due the parade came through in which all the sponsors have cars and they through freebies out such as food samples, bags, wristbands, hats etc etc. I eventually got good at catching the things before they hit the river :) at this moment with all the cars going past and everyone getting excited, I knew the tour would be coming past soon :) Ahhh I'm so excited :)

So not long later, I was half day dreaming and I hear the cheers of the people around me and so I get up in time to see the break away coming towards me and riding past :) looking back down the mountain I see the peloton in the distance and I cheer for Carl as they ride past me :) ahhhhhhhhhhhh! :) :) :) :)
A few things I learnt, I walked a few kilometers up that mountain, no f***ing way could I ride it so I can't believe they ride the whole way up, my god! I also didn't realize that they ride up the mountain so fast, s***! The last thing that shocked me was they they still rise that fast, up the mountain in the 30 degree heat, man I was dying just laying there in that heat!

So once the riders have been past, I slowly make mywsy back down the mountain to luz and wait in the heat 3 hours for my bus. So i sit there, waiting at the bus stop, 5 minutes late.... 10 minutes late.... 20 minutes late. Whist I waiting I was speaking to a Canadian girl and a Scottish guy and we are all sick of waiting so decide it will be quicker to split a taxi down the mountain as the bus may never come!

So I made it safely back down the mountain and back to my little hotel :) of course I went back via maccas :) I can't help myself :p
So I got a big day of traveling tomorrow, better have a sleep
