Angkor wat time, the actual temple not the pub! 5am wake up to go and see the sunrise :) it wasn't too much of a struggle to get up and jump on the bus. We had to get out at the ticket office and get our photo taken for the pass. Then not too much longer and it was time to get out and see the temple!

First impressions, was that it is massive! So big and so old! We went towards the reflection pool and waited for the sub to come up. You could see the reflection in the water! Beautiful!
After the sunrise we visited the tomb raider temple, which was pretty cool! Lots of trees and roots growing everywhere.

Then time to head back to the hotel for breakfast and a nap before checking out the other temples. We went and explored Angkor wat in the sun and heat! It was hot, humid heat :( the guide told us the stories that were on the walls of the temple which were cool about the milk water mountain and the karma. We then walked up very steep steps to the top to take some photos and check out the view! Again amazing!

Back down and time for the last temple called bayon. It had 56? Heads made of stone but some had fallen. Every face was different! In the middle was a Buddha statue that was damaged by a crazy Dutch lady! After the hot walk it was time for lunch! The guide had told us about his life and different business things he had started up! So for lunch we went to his latest business venture, a restaurant.

It was located near Angkor wat and was like a small farm with lots of fruit growing. I ordered chicken cashew which was so amazing! Best ever! I also for a mixed fruit shake which was incredible! After s full tummy time to head to the hotel. I jumped in the pool for a swim and then it was time for quad biking :)

On the way to quad biking it started pouring with rain! This made it more fun! Before we were allowed to drive on our own we had to pass a test. Just a few turns and around a tree. I had to go around the tree twice and I think I was borderline coz I keep taking my finger on and off the accelerator but I was allowed to go on my own :) we then drove on small country dirt roads with pot holes and lots of mud! The country was small villages and rice fields! We had cows walking down the road and local kids waving at us! We then stopped for some photos and to fix a broken quad! Not long after someone got bogged and then one of the guys got bogged! I was happy I didn't :) one of the girls in front of me had a cow almost bite her and we almost swerved of the road into the canal! Way too much fun :)

Back to the hotel and time for dinner! We went to a coroner place and I had chicken amok yum! I also sung karaoke but I'm really bad! Then time for Angkor wat! A bit of a drink and a dance! Not too much as we have a long bus ride in the morning. We got back to the hotel and decided to jump in the pool at 2am, clothes and all. When we got out we were all hungry and so we went on a walk almost back to the pub to find a mini mart and get Pringles! So random and so good!
