Arrived in Gisbourne after long drive in funny bus. This hostel is awesome, I could definately get into the beach bum way of life. i'm going surfing tomorrow. It;ll be interesting to say the least. We're right next to tyhe beach- it's across the road, would love to stay here longer but buses only come on certain days. Lovin the east coast though. Not loving pay phones which aren't payphones. on all payphones u have to use a crad- of which i have one only it's for dialling not chip. VERY annoying. trekked rather a long way today to locate a payphone but it was just like the others, so comforted myself by buying an icecream. sweet as. Icecream.
