This is the first time i have writen on this thing... Here's a boy perspective.

At this point we were recovering from being booed of a train after being unusually Bolshy about seat allocations. We were being brave but stupid. We were intent that the indians in our seats were wrong and we weren't to be moved. It transpired that we had the day. The days had merged into one another due to the sickness we had just overcome.

Extremely embarasing the dram that followed was terrible. There were tears, mostly mine but we got over it as son as we had a moral victory over another guy who had previuously seen our mistake and had tried to make money out oif us. We shot him down and got back what he robed from us. We were still down, money wise but it actually meant it turned out to be one of the best nights!

This meant we stayed in Palolem for the wek we were suposed to be going to Kerela. It was nice to see old mateys, enjoy the sun sea and the rom we had this time was the business. It doesn't really matter a whole lot on the place u stay because the place is so nice, but it is nice not to have a toliet that keeps being sick on you everytime you flush it, and not having to assure liz she wasn't going to be eaten alive evrytime she went for a number two was grand too!

It's a really cool place, a must for anyone who loves the beach. Whether ur a group of lads on the sauce or going on a couples retreat it's a realy chiled place and i have enjoyed it. Anyone who says it's ben ruined by tourists is of the mark, these things are usally written by die hard travellers who are stil looking for a part of the world that no one else has found yet!

We did get our train to Hampi. 8 Hours there which is a god send seeing as most trains take at lleast a day. We tok it in the day because the views are spectacular! I love hanging out of a train with the wind on my face, a cheap thrill but a must. The class ur in makes all the difference. 2nd A/C is lush.

Hampi itself is extremely hot, never without a powercut (so A/C rooms are redundant) but it's a stunning place. When the pictures are up you will see that they don't look real. That's how good this place is. It changes all the time. And it is a place where you can rent bikes and learn.
We didn't however, which i still regret this but we were only there for a couple of days and we were well tired for the first one. The biggest attractions are better found on foot anyways (with the option on a werid circle shaped bamboo boat for one of them). I

I forget the names now. I haven't them on me, but all will be explained with the picture captions when i finaly sort out a way of uploading all the photos. Uploading photos while your away is a nightmare because oif internet conections. If you have a laptop that is insured and isn't to heavy it's a must. There is always Wi-fi and it would have made such a diufferent to our lifes to have it. See so many people on the beach or a hamock just uploading pics before diner. Great life.

The Mango tree has the best view for a drink, but the fod isn't the best. At night with no view you wil be disapointed with the food. Watch sunset there then go eat somewhere else.

The best temple was experience was the Shiva underground temple, where a local proud of his Hindu roots lead us through the water into the depths of this darkened temple to show us an odd shaped stone that symbolised the hearts of the gods. Not being a religious buff i still found it a really god experience and when liz nearly had a s***fit over the bats sleeping in the darkness an inch above the head, i had my highlight.

India is amzing, but it has so many seeds... They love to undres with the eyes and many can be very rude. So know when to back yourself and when to swalow ur tounge. Take solace in the fact heat they are al realy really short!

In Thailand now, and it's a breeze in comparison. I still miss Goa a little though.
