Ok again how am i supposed to do updates if i have pics to choose from.....pic there is from ireland and has nothing to do with poland....though i have seen grass here in poland and there seems to be grass in the pic so we will go with that for a link....anyway....it has been a fairly chill time....for those of you not in the know chill would be an adjetive (in this case) refering to a relaxing or low key (ie not a lot of excitement) kinda time.....well the less excitement has been welcome....though it didnt start out like that the whole wandering forever to find the hostel....if i didnt mention that i will repeat it took forever to find the hostel.....a 20 minute walk turned into 2 hrs.....so i was pretty spent and used the day to wander sample some foods and visit the countless shops this town house......by countless i mean countless (or why else would i say it...) but they are making so much money on tourists it is not even funny.....though it is a good incorperation of tourist shops into the city.....like barcelona does not incorperate the tourst well.....you know the whole time you are in a place built for americans but here it rememded me of girona a lot....absolutly beautiful town, clean kept, and lots to see and do...but i have run out of energy to do all the museums and such so i havnt done any....i have had a relaxing few days of eating great food for little money and finished reading angels and demons......the two highlights i had were night one and last night.....night one i met this kid named ernie who was a chinese canadian and a really cool guy....talkative guy which was good and a worldy traveler of 9 months so far.....shared many intresting stories and he wanted to find this budget eatery called a milk bar that is especially cheap.....right he was as i paid 4 USD for chicken, cranberry sauce, potatoes, yogart parfet type deal, ice tea, and blueberry cake.....yeh 4 dollars.....amazing....we had no clue what we were buying though cause everything was in polish so what i got was simply random.......well then the night att he hostel was intresting cause the dorm room fits 26 and it is a small room......they packed these bunk beds in.....so for one person to get into a far bed they would ahve to crawl over 2 other beds.....i am not really complaining as i only paid 7 bucks so....and i got lucky stacking claim to only a double side by side bunk bed and yet even luckier when the bed next to me was vacant......it was prolly lucky for whomeevr was sleeping there cause when i woke i up was spread out between the two beds.....i cannot imagine if someone was there what would happened....i am a violent sleeper what can i say.....i remember having to share a king size bed with alex lorenc in scounting at a hotel....now mind you we are both in sleeping bags but still when i woke up poor alex was on the floor cause i had apparently edged him off all night....anyway.....yeh and last night i was finishing up reading angels and demons by dan brown (author of the divinci code) and this couple comments on it.....well it turns into a whole conversation which was quite nice....in fact i found myself being debating a lot of topics have not debated in some time which was nice to do rather then the normal travelers dialogue....terry the husbad was an english teacher and was very intrested in (as well as his wife) in religion and such...which is always a difficult topic for me because of my science background but he brought up a lot of good points....one being that science that we learn is only what they teach us....kinda like any other thing in the world....it is the popular science that we learn about.....so it was interesting to talk about creationism, darwinism, religion, and dan brown and his books cause they relate to all of it in a bunch of ways.....today i even met terry for a few minutes and he treated me to an art museum which was quite nice....well then i got to go through a bit of a fiasco getting my train tix....in fact i was quite stressful but i got one to berlin for tonight......the bad side being that no more beds left.....so i will be sleeping in the upright again.....i am so psyched....aight time is winding down and i need to go visit this really big castle in town before i depart....hope all is well....ben
