The end of another day's trekking, and maybe time to formulate a new strategy for Faroeing. I now see how critical a car is for hiking as you really need to chase the weather from island to island. Traveling by bus limits the locations and also doesn't provide enough time to hike and get the critical connection of buses back to Torshavn. So, maybe I'll do more traveling by bus to visit various villages and just look around. I'll see what the weather brings tomo...

There are 50k people in the Faroes and twice as many sheep. This is one that escaped the misty shroud.

Obligatory selfie. The lighthouse is at the opposite end of the island, so an 11 mile (round trip) hike through fog, bogs and mysterious sheep that appeared and disappeared suddenly in the damp and blowing mist. I've never trusted sheep.
