I wanted to head to Kalsoy today to see the statue of the Seal Woman, but the ferry times are tight and I don't want to be stranded. So, I peeked at the the weather forecast and they proclaimed that Vestmanna is the place to be. It's sort of crazy, weather wise, in the Faroe Islands because it can be bright and sunny on one island and foggy/raining on another. You have to chance the weather. Last, but not least, this is the view from my room looking out to the island of Nólsoy. That's where I hiked a couple days after I arrived. Not quite so sunny then!

This is what I came to the Faroe Islands to see, Mulafossur. The waterfall sits at the edge of the village of Gásadalur. I stayed here, trembling on the steps to hell, taking pictures, listening to the waterfalls and surf, watching the cliff birds and thoroughly enjoying a wonderful sunny day in the Faroes.
