I was at the peak of Mosarekur for about 20 minutes, eating lunch and relaxing, when this young fellow from Moscow stumbled upon me. He immediately said, "I didn't expect to find anyone up here!" I told him I'm just an old guy so I don't count. We visited for awhile, his name is Max. He was on his way to Saksun, and had a very long trek ahead of him. We visited for ten mins, then I started down the mountain in the opposite direction to beat the wind chill.

The sheep rancher said the peak with rocks was named 'Tindur', one of the peaks I was trying to find. Well, turns out he was not right. This one is Postulakirkja. Tinder was to the west about a half km. Of course, which rocks are the right ones?

There are a number of lakes in this area. Some are dammed for power generation. There are also a growing number of wind turbines as the wind always blows in the Faroes.

The shortest distance between 2 points is sometimes down a cliff. Made it OK. Going around would have added 4km or 5km. You can see the angled terraces that I used to zig zag down.
