I decided to move on from the last campground. Something just didn't gel. I drove another 69km west, towards the end of the Vesturland peninsula, and found a nice campsite with clean showers an....Viking lager!
Ok, I'll stay here tonight and head tors Reykjavik tomorrow. It's right by the ocean, so a real change of pace and scenery.
