The two pillars are called 'the giant' and 'the witch' from old mythology. They tried to steal the island and drag it to Iceland, but the sun came up and turned them to stone. Getting stoned in the Faroes has its consequences.

This is transition day back to Torshavn from the apartment in Sudrugota. The chickens were clucking and cloodling around 3:45 am, so not much rest for the wicked.
