I arrived back in Thailand Bangkok yesterday late afternoon. I'm in a nice hotel becuse its my last night. The shower works like no other I have experianced and it more or less stays the same temprature for more than 30 seconds so we are talking very high quality indeed.
I'm just in MBK the massive shopping mall killing some time with a coffee before I head off to the airport to start the journey home. I'm sharing a cab with a friend so that will help save some of my remaining Bhart for something to eat later. I'm a little strapped because I had a pretty brilliant night out last night. I managed to tick off everything that was left on my Bangkok bucket list. I went for cheap but superb eats on the Khau San road and had the best Masaman curry that ever was made. I went to Pat Pong for the knock off handbags and a skulk roaund the more shady areas. This was eventful and great fun and so funny to see the look on Sky's face at the lack of subtlty of the whole industry. Things happened that made me laugh till it was painful.
Finally I headed with two lovely friends to the Sky Bar on the 63rd floor of one of the skyscrapers and drank martinis till we should have stopped and then had one more, and a lovely Tuk tuk home buy the best driver yet, he was all smiley and funny (or ot may have been the Martinis). It was the perfect last night, and I had the most brilliant time wich is very in keeping with the whole trip.
I hate saying goodbyes, it always makes me feel very awkward, so I've not really enjoyed this morning. On the up side I am looking forward to catching up with everyone. Billy's picking me up and Will see Mum and Dad too. Seeing Libby next weekend and all my Guildford friends inbetween I hope.
Sorry about all the bad spelling and typos. I never read these back or draft them. I just kind of ramble on then post them- I will re-read them when I get home. Its been nice to be able to tell you all what I'm up to. I have not been accessing Facebook for 3 weeks, and I've not really been checking email so it really has been 1 way communication if you're reading this. I like that though. I always feel better when I've had the last word.
I have had the best time coming away. Eveything I was worried about was unfounded and there have not really been any negatives. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Infact I may spend the next 10 mins looking for my next adventure.
See you all very soon.
Big Love Bangkok Style (no Pingpong)
