We are really enjoying reading about your experiences darling, the scheduled and those of your own engineering. I would like to book you NOW as a TOP speaker for W.I! (half joking) Have just been listening to Chris on the Jamtrack site, Great stuff. All well here Val has a bungalow for viewing in Rustington and she has asked me to view with her. Carry on researching, recording and relaxing and good luck with the new room share. xxxxx

OK worked out how to access previous blogs and caught up. Sounds like you are really getting in to the local colour and customs. I like the way you get into the back rooms of peoples' lives and they show you what's going on. It is so amazing when you can see and experience other cultures different to our own. Take care. D.

Hi Hannah
Sorry not to have got back before now, have just read your blog for today 17th. Shooting off Ak47 and machine guns sounds like a riot even if crawling in small tunnels was abit scary. I can't see how to access previous blogs but will try to work it out so I cancatch up.
It has been like cold here man so you are in the best place. Chris has been out to Brockham today to teach. He has a trail on the Jamtrack site telling the world that the video launch is Jan 19. After about 12 hours he had had 2000 hits so it will be interesting to see if anyone wants to buy.
I put an ad in the Brockham Parish News for a greenhouse and someone who backs onto the allotments has, so I am dismantling at the moment with a view to walking it over the fence onto my allotment.
Hope you continue to have agreat time
Love from us both David

The first hand experience of another world faith sounds very interesting. You can read about ideas but how it is practised on the ground tells you so much more. Are local people attenders at the Temple, do they meditate at home or is faith much more nominal as it is in the UK? It is often said Bhuddists dont really believe in a God outside themselves in the way Christianity or Judaism does. Do you get an impression of what Bhuddists actually believe or perhaps they are reluctant to talk?
The news is full of the Stephen Lawrence trial and the sentences of the accused. Is Laos ethnically varied or pretty monochrome? On the street TV interviews suggest race relations have improved here but there is still bad feeling apparent. Its difficult to think "world community" rather than "our community". Although footage of the Republican primaries in the States reveals some fairly frightening small town opinions and points of view. They really seem to find it difficult to get off the "lets make America great again" theme song. You can see why there is alot of anti American feeling in the world. How does the West look from the east?
Sounds like you are having a mind blowing time. Love the blog. Keep it up.
Lots of love from us both.
