Hello Alll, Mannaged to get a flight to Phuket from Ko Samui on 13th. Got some decent digs in Patong (Boomerang Hotel) where we stayed for our duration in Patong. Place was really good, digs were in walking distance from all the nightlife, Bangla Road was the main street...This was full of go go bars and nightclubs from end to end. You will be pleased to know we didn't spend the whole time in bars as you all may think, we went on a couple of trips to some amazing places. First trip was PHi Phi Islands, we got a speed boat that took us to the Islands and around them. This was great as it was realy quick and gave us more time to spend on the islands. Went to Maya Bay, where the film "The Beach"is filmed. This was total paradise (a bit crowded tho), we did some snorkeling around the reefs which was full of tropical fish and amazing reefs. We had a great laugh on the boat, tour guide was a great laugh and kept us entertained all day. We also went to monkey island and saw monkey's roaming around free, only they didn't want the bananas we were feeding them. On our second trip we got a bigger boat which took us to James Bond island, this was a nice relaxing day with loads of sunbathing so tans were topped up. James Bond island was surprisingly smaller than we thought but glad we went. On the way back we stopped off at another island to do some canoeing through some caves, had great laugh doing this. Got back on the boat to head for the pier and the boat staff gave us a wee show involving singing, dancing and a ladyboy who took a shining to Fraser!! All in al this was a briliant day out. This was our last stop in Thailand, we booked a flight to Kuala Lumpur for the 18th. So to sum up had a great time in Patong. Thailand was superb, saw some amzing places and met some great people on the way, and will definately return. Hope you enjoyed the pictures, Role on Malaysia...Speak soon...
