Hello All, thats us left Bangkok, now moved south to Hau Hin. Bangkok was a mental place, the biggest culture shock of our lives, the people were all friendly, but the place was a giant skip. Anyway moving on. The train journey was an adventure in itself, first a 4 hour wait at train station, then got on the oldest train in Thailand, the heat was hard to bear as we only had a fan to cool us down. Train was supposed to be 4 hours (more like 6). No more moaning now. We arrived in Hau Hin, a descent sized place with awsome hotel and a beach to die for on our doorstep. Went out for a few drinks tonight, got chatting with a guy who lived in Ardesier (Inverness) in the 70's, small world. Also managed to walk out of bar without paying our bar tab (This was an accident honestly!) Have booked our next leg of the trip, get a bus on wed to Chumphon then an 1 and half hour boat trip to Ko Tao, so looking forward to that. We are appreciating all the messages you are sending us, and hope to be in touch soon with some more pics and stories all is well in the sun Fraser and Gordy x (Message from Gordon to Mum - , so sorry to hear about Brian, Please pass on my deepest sympathy to Anne and family, speak to you soon)
