Day one in Auckland. (By Tracy) In the rush to leave the house today it would seem I forgot to clean the broccoli and lettuce out of the fridge... Hmmmm that could be an interesting science experiment when we get back... Meantime the flight to Auckland was pretty bumpy and it's wet and grey up here. But we are now enjoying hot chocolates and biscuits.

Well it's now only 5 more sleeps till we go! Packing is well under way... But for some reason "yup I've got plenty of warm stuff" really means "nah I haven't bothered looking!" And when you are growing as quickly as Riley, the results are clothes with arms and legs that are too short. We may well look like we are sponsored by Kathmandu or Macpac on this trip...
