Now we are over on the east coast where all the excitement starts!! I was great catching up with family, but now the proper travelling lifestyle starts!

We arrived in Cairns on monday, and have been so busy ever since. As you cant swim in the sea here (horrible jellyfish) there is a lagoon on the beachfront that is awesome. Spent some time chilling out there. Took a trip out to the great barrier reef. Did snorkelling and an introductory dive with all the proper equipment...was so exciting!

Ended up north of Cairns for an over night tip to cape tribulation...the rain forest! Took a long long walk out to a water hole, which was so raw and rugged it felt like we should not have been allowed there. The next day were were kyaking around the rainforest in the sea with great views. Some hard padelling at times but well worth it. Turtles were swimming with us at times!

We are now waiting to go down to magnetic island...unfortunatly we missed the bus this morning. for some reason we made an assumption with the time. so stuck here for another night!

Had an awesome night out last night with some people we r meeting. Out kyaking we meet someone from Brentwood, the in our hostel last night was some people from Stebbing! Such a small world! Went to the wool shed where people end up dancing on the tables. Paul got close to doing it before I dragged him out!

Magnetic island is our next stop, about half a days travelling to get down there.
