América 2013
In the afternoon, we walked towards the "horns", two very weird mountains with three layers of differently-colored stone. This is a 5-hour hike - too long for our taste, but it's a nice landscape.
Look at the trees in the picture - these have been burned in a huge fire, like the majority of trees in the national park. Walking through this forest is sometimes like being in a ghost movie. The funny part is how the fire was started. A couple of years ago, a hiker decided to *burn* his toilet paper, because he didn't want to leave remains that might conterminate the nature. Great plan, because he burned the national park down.
