We do our first easy hike (2 hours) towards Cerro Paine Grande and back. It's a beautiful day and we meet a number of very nice people in our group. Christopher, a guy from Boston working in the biomedical research area. Raha, a iranian girl who's now an assistant professor in engineering Colombia (amazing vita!). Again, surprisingly many scientists here :) And Alfredo, our second guide who is studying Eco-tourism, apparently one of the standard educations of the guides here. This is a mixture of tourism, ecology, geology and history. I've never heard of such a course in Europe, but it totally makes sense to me.
