América 2013
I went snorkeling with a hilarious Rapa Nui guide and an english couple in the north of the island (near Anakena). After a few meters where the water is opaque from the sand of the beach, we arrive at a shallow coral reef with really clear water. The fauna here is not mind-blasting like in Galapagos, but we see a few pretty fish and I get to test my new underwater camera. It turns out to be really really hard to make good photos when you have no way to stand still. So out of the 100 or so photos I took, 99 are really crap, but at least I got one nice one, showing our guide with a big pufferfish that he caught with his hands. And then I get to hold the pufferfish as well. Yippieh! Uuuh, it's soft and slippery :)
