Anja and I met up in Santiago. After having found the nice beach in Concon, I took here there for another day-trip. That day the weather was great and it is less cold. Unfortunately, we only got pro surfboards (way too small for us), so we had our least successful surfing attempt today - didn't stand on the board a single time.

I got hit by the surfboard over the head (again!). This time in the face, and as a result I got a beautiful black eye for a week. Some time later I met a very esoteric and conspiracy-theory-loving guide in Chile. After Anja told him about my tendency to get hit by surfboards he said "maybe the universe is trying to tell you something". Yeah, I it indeed it wants to tell me something like "Go f***ing learn how to surf properly before trying to do it somehow". Well, the next opportunity will be only in months, because this is the last day in acceptably-tempered waters.
