Hi everyone!
So in Melbourne now, been here for about a week! Having such a fantastic time and have seen many sights including Federation Square ,
The Old Melbourne Jail, where we walked around and looked at the poor conditions people lived in up to 1995- not very nice!! We also had the opportunity to be locked up by prison guard who used to work in the jail. He picked on me the whole time and was actualy quite frightening, we did all think though that he went too far and actually made me too anxcious the enjoy the experience- great day though!!
Melbourne Aquarium- Went for the day to the aquarium, really good fun and saw a sting ray feeding presentation- so so funny!! Will try and post pictures of it on here but at the moment im not sure how it works!!
Healesville Sanctuary- Saw Koalas, Wombats, Possoms, and my favourite (A Bilby) Looks just like a gremlin or furby, very cute!! Colleen bought me a childrens book about them (very funny)
Mornington- went to a beach really far away (well it felt far) and experienced a beach hut or a beach box as they call them here. They cost about $150,000- so much money for a hut on the beach!!
Casino- went to Crown Casino and put $1 into a pokie (fruit machine) and won $12 back immediately then went to the Roulette table and put down $5 and won $80 immediately, was a very good night but decided to leave it at that- not very good at gambling!!!
Indoor Soccer- went to watch my cousin Allison's boyfriend play indoor soccer (football)- it was an experience. There was about 8 pitches, dont even know if the exist at home but it really smelt bad because of all the smelly guys!! Went to a festival afterwards but it had finished so went home!!
Chocolate- they have weird chocolate here- triple deck, tim tams, and others but cant think of their names!! They have chips, oops, i mean crisps called burger rings, Cheeseos (or something like that) nice though!!
Dandenong- went to fed some birds that will sit on your head and body and eat seeds- very funny!! Aldo went to the William Ricket sanctuary where we walked around the paths and looked the amazing carvings he did in the rocks- really eerie but fantastic!!
Neighbours- going on a neighbours tour tomorrow will let you know what happenes! So excited, cant wait!!
Milo- have tried milo, its basically a chocolatey, malty drink!!! It so so so tasty, will try and bring some home and distribute!!
Anyway thats my actions recently!
Having a great time, the family are amazing and are tolerating me extremely well!!
