Hey everyone. In Perth at the moment, leaving for Melbourne tomorrow. Very jet lagged and need to sleep. Who said that Australia is cheap (its not!!) Arrived in Perth, and couldnt find a hostel with a spare bed- it took hours to eventually find one! But im here and alive! Hi everyone. Arrived last night in Port Elizabeth. First impressions: VERY RUN DOWN!! People are quite unhelpful and everything is closed- its saturday (very strange) Our hostel is very nice, well actually, its a family home. They make us breakfast in bed in the morning,. either a continental or English! It cost 85R which is only about 6 pounds a night (which is actually expensive as hostels go!! We arrived in Victoria Falls (The Zimbabwe side) and we immediately taken to the activities office to book activities for the comingew days. I knew I would do white water rafting because its something I have always wanted to do! Happily arrived back in Nairobi without getting stuck and then got ready to go out to Carnivore (one of the worlds top 50 restaurants) It was quite expensive about 50quid each for all you can eat but I figured it would be a great experience. Men come around with meat attached to spears and then carve off the meat infront of you. You can choose from Zebra, Crocodile (my favourite) Ostrich, Gazelle, Beef, Chicken, Lamb!
