Another active day, but in Vietnam this time.
Had a trip around the city, visited the Ben thanh Market bought pair trousers, then went to The presidential Palace, Lacquer workshop, some amazing things for sale. Gill bought some beautiful place mats, but I just thought I couldn't carry anything. Next was Notre Dame Cathedral. Was an okay trip.
Tommorow we are doing the Cu Chi Tunnels & Cao Dai Temple should be very interesting
Time to get ready to go for supper, think we are going to eat in the hotel tonight.
As we keep being told hold on to your bags, so keep checking and check again. Can't be bothered with all that tonight.
Gill has been great company and we get on really well, we have a good laugh seem to have the same sense of humour. Shame we are not travelling same way, but she is on her way around the world. She probably be glad to get rid of me and my snoring, have given her ear plugs But apparently I need to trim them as to big. So I can't be that bad, although have had cough and cold.
Shower time,, actually had a beautiful bath with hot water, it was bliss. bye for know xx
Guess what had to walk out of restaurant as Vietnam wine was crap, couldn't get them to understand so paid half. It really was crap.
