Another installment from Lady Elliot Island to accommodate some more photos because as usual I took so many...... We continued with another glassy water sunrise over the lagoon, great buffet breakfast, snorkeling in the underwater world, iced coffee at the cafe, lounging in the sun & some more reading. We borrowed some full face snorkels from a very generous English couple for a session in the lagoon & found them to be really great - weird to look at but ...

After following Sean Scott Photography & numerous others on Instagram for several years & being inspired to see the beautiful Lady Elliot Island ourselves we finally made it & happily were not disappointed. Finally some lovely warm, still & sunny weather felt like summer & the eco resort was everything we expected & more. Our basic cabin was only steps from the beach, past turtle nests in the sand - some still with eggs - not to be disturb...
