Lima is a massive city and for most of the year it is very foggy, look down the road 2 blocks and you'll see a wall of fog in most directions, very strange!

Having found out that my bag and guitar didn't make the journey from Piura, we spoke to the manager of the bus company and arranged to pick my stuff up the following morning, a few hours before our flight to Cusco! We booked into Loki hostel which is a well known chain and had a relaxed Sunday. Up early in the morning to find my bags, luckily they arrived and we jumped in a taxi to the airport... plenty of time to spare although we had to leave the football behind unless we deflated it! Ah well!

An hour later we arrive in Cusco, the landing was interesting... flying in and around mountains and then a sharp turn down on to the runway, nicely done by the pilot!
