The day started with me waking up at 5.30am... WHY?! I hear you asking and let me tell you that was exactly what I was asking myself. Force of habit I guess, as much as I tried I couldn't go back to sleep so got up before 6.

  We very slowly got ourselves ready for the day. I cooked breakfast, and saved us an easy 40 bucks, before we headed out for the shops to pick up a couple last minute things before our trip. Back home with a kebab....a bit of a treat for us cos we can't get those at home, then we even got to watch a whole movie in one go without any interruptions.... another thing we just can't do at home!

After a lazy afternoon we left about 4pm to head down to Riverside ferry stop to catch the city cat over to Bulimba where we were meeting my lovely cousin Lyndal and her husband Andrew. We met at Oxford 152 and as always had a fabulous night chatting away over a great meal ... and of course a couple of drinks! With our upcoming flight and Lyndal and Andrew needing to be at work the next morning we didn't make it a late night so were back at the motel by around 10.
