Busy day planned once again for today so we were up at 7am .. I do love staying here where we have cooking facilities, well even tea making facilities ( can't remember if I mentioned it but most places here don't have a fridge or anything, some just have a coffee filter machine!! )... I cooked us up some ham and eggs to keep us going for the mornings activities.... "that'll be $25 thanks" I like to say to Rodd as I hand him his breakfast... saving so ...

Well because we had such a huge day yesterday we decided to have a sleep in and get going whenever we were ready... turns out that was at 1.30pm!!! In some way I felt it was a wasted day but as with our day "off" in Vegas we felt we really needed to recoup and recharge... all this being on holiday stuff is exhausting!!! I took the time to get an entry in the blog done so not all wasted.When we finally set out the plan was to go up to Central Park.. now on the ma...

I was up at 6.15am bright eyed and bushy tailed, rearing to go. Vegemite on toast and a cup of tea for breakfast never tasted so good!!! I left Rodd to sleep in until about 7.30 and couldn't contain myself anymore... He really wanted a bit more sleep but got up. We had passes to the WTC Memorial for 10am so we walked up to Grand Central Terminal and jumped on the subway ( 5 ) to Bowling Green. Now when I say "jumped on the subway" I do exaggerate somewhat.......

Thursday 2nd Feb is the morning we fly to New York City and Cass flys to LA for 3 days/2 nights. Our wonderful friends Jeanne and Rog have a daughter Kaylan who lives in LA and Cass and Kay have been facebooking over the last few weeks! Kaylan organised to meet Cass and show her around LA, I think it's just lovely what generous natured people we know! Cassie's boyfriend also flew in from Canada to spend some time with her in LA..... I'm sure they all ...

I'm so confused about what day it is!! But after counting back .... Wednesday 1st Feb.Up bright and early this morning even though we didn't sleep too well. Rodd is coming down with an awful cough.. we've bought stuff from the chemist he's busy dosing himself up with but... let's hope we knock it on the head!! The room at Bills is huge, clean and comfortable but the down side of having such a wonderful Strip view is that you also get the noise...
