My first impression of LAX is always how huge it is! The plane may have landed at 6.30 but it takes forever to get to the gate and then you walk for days to baggage claim! But despite all that it took us about an hour to get our bags and go through immigration and customs so not too bad. From there we caught the free shuttle, that does loops around to all the terminals for transfers, over to terminal 1 for our Southwest flight to Vegas. Bags checked, through security and now all we have to do is wait about 2 hours so eating breakfast might take up a bit of time! From there H & T tried to lie on the floor for a nap but H somehow managed to lie down on a wet patch so they had to sleep sitting up. Ugh flight delayed 30 minutes due to high traffic and winds in Vegas but finally at 10.30 we are in the sky and headed for Vegas!!
