We arrived in Broome after a couple of days in Derby, washing, fixing stuff and grocery shopping. It was amazing to see the ocean. We booked into a huge but lovely caravan park that had about 500 sites! We were 493! It took us longer to walk to the front of the park than it did from there to the beach! We left Silent Grove and had a very scenic drive for about one and half hours through a number of smaller ranges. We came into sight of the Napier Range, an extraordinary sight, which is one of 3 ranges which make up a 300km long ancient (360 million year old) barrier reef. We left Manning Gorge after fuelling up and filling up with water too. Another hours drive bought us to Silent Grove campground where we set up and had lunch. After that we drove another 10kms to Bell Gorge. It was a relatively short and easy walk into the gorge, this time coming in to top of the Falls. A very short drive had us pulling in to Mt Barnett Roadhouse for fuel and water and to book in for the Manning gorge campground.
