Onslow, Western Australia
Still driving west and south we popped (80kms) into Onslow, another small port town with a salt mine and gas plant. The road in was straight and flat and on either side of the road were hundreds and hundreds of huge red termite mounds that stretched for kilometres off into the distance. We had lunch and a walk around the small town then drove back out of town about 40 Km's to camp along the Ashburton river. It was a beautiful and peaceful spot to stay for a few n...
