We arrived in Shark Bay and set up in Denham at the Blue Dolphin caravan park and had a nice sunny afternoon to explore the small, pretty town but woke the next morning to grey skies and a bit of light rain. We packed quite a bit into our 2 and a half days in Carnarvon. We enjoyed the fresh and sometimes organic delights of Carnarvon's "fruit bowl", fruit and veges from all the local farms, we walked out along the historic 1 mile pier, snorkelled at the "aquarium" at Point Quobba, watched the blow hole blow and played at the huge park on the foreshore. It was a fun and busy couple of days.

Our five days at the stunning Coral Bay were a fun mix of snorkelling and 4WDing, reading, fishing and playing on the beach. The weather was also a mixed bag of wind and cloud and sun. We had some beautiful snorkelling swims and quite a few exciting 4WDing adventures in the sand dunes. No luck fishing but we all finished reading a book! We have spent the last four days on the Ningaloo reef at Osprey Bay in the Cape Range National park. A beautiful camp ground in a spectacular part of the country with white sandy beaches and clear blue water and reef all the way along, a haven for marine life. After a muddy, wet pack-up due to a thick fog we left Old Onslow river camp and headed south west again then north into Exmouth, a beautiful and amazing peninsula, boasting the Ningaloo Reef on the west side.
