Ive now arrived in Salvador!But i feel like im in Jamaica!! More than half the population here is black, they eat carribean food, and theres palm trees, colourful buildings and red earth everywhere! Its roasting hot, getting up to almost 40degrees by about 11am!!!But im not complaining! Theres a really nice atmosphere here tho.Its cool! Yesterday we (me, mark, darcy and dave) went to this huge market -was a bit touristy but nice. Ended up sitting outside and got chatting to these locals outside, and stayed chatting/drinking/eating with them for almost 3hours!!They bought us everything! Beer, carribean food, fried fish . . . random!! Then had my picture taken with a couple of military enforcement guys, one of whom, - after standing near us for almost half an hour- then came back and gave me his email, asking if i would send him the photo!!!!! Went out for drinks last night, and got chatting with these other guys. They ended up talking to us for most of the night, but i felt really bad coz they were out with two girls, but they just ignored them the WHOLE time, and said they werent really that bothered. Then one of them bought me a rose, STILL while the other girls were sitting there!! Nothing kicked off tho so its all good!!!lol.
