Again, not my photo lol! Really need to start uploading some photos of my own so I can make those 1 or 2 of you that actually bother to read this insanely jealous!

Just another quick update to let you all know I'm still alive! Kate and I have been volunteering at the IAR in Goa for 2 weeks now and I can't believe how quickly it's gone. We're able to do all the daily treatments for the 90 or so dogs we have in as well as the 15ish cats. We also deal with all the stray puppies and kittens we have in - one of the perks of the job :-) It's great to be able to make your own decisions as a vet rather than being under the constant watchful eye of someone you know is evaulating you're every move (ie being on EMS)! However we do also have some good supervision so that's always a comfort. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get much surgery practice as we're so busy doing other bits but hopefully we'll get that experience elsewhere on our travels.

From a social point of view, we have met some great people out here including Laura who is also a new grad from Cambridge & volunteering at the IAR and Alex, a 5th year vet student from Nottingham. We have also met others who are simply travelling around India, mainly Polish, Americans and Scandinavians.
