Day 6 - Saturday 6th April 2013 (Travelled 248 kms)
After our morning walk along the beach, we packed up and left our beautiful spot on the beach to head further south. We visited Arno Bay, renowned for snapper fishing and the "Cleanseas" Yellowfin Tuna, Kingfish and Mulloway Hatchery and fish farm. Further down the road we called in to take a look at Port Neill, overlooking the bay and enjoying some of Sally's homemade biscuits and a cuppa. Back on the road and heading for Tumby Bay, another little pine tree lined foreshore. We walked out along the pier and the boys chatted with a local fisherman and got all the latest on what fish are biting.
We arrived in Port Lincoln and enjoyed a most delightful feed of fish and chips at Cruiser's Café, on the marina a most obliging fellow who gave us a complimentary plate full of yummy tasting calamari.
After lunch we headed off towards the Lincoln National Park and in particular were looking for a camping spot at Fishery Bay which ended up being unsuccessful, so we headed into the National Park ($19 a couple for the night)and set up camp just near Cape Donington at the September Camp Ground, a nice little sheltered bay. Some folks enjoyed their fresh oysters for afternoon tea.

David Eyre Peninsula is a fishers and surfers paradise, a well kept secret from Vics. Go for the salmon. Hope its not blowing too hard.
